Under the MOU, the two partners will provide assistance to each other to improve learning and teaching quality. Career consultations will also be enhanced. In addition, educational exchange programmes between the university and the high school, social activities for the service community, and experiential programmes to improve living skills, will be carried out.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr Loc said: “Being twinned will enhance further educational co-operation between the university and the high school in the coming time, including exchange programmes for training teachers and students, especially in career orientation and development for high school students.”
The leaders of Tran Phu High School said they greatly appreciated the effort to carry out co-operation activities outlined in the MOU. It is the first time in the 34 years of the history of the high school that it has been twinned with a university.
In the near future, the university will continue to strengthen friendship in education with other high schools in the city. This cooperation reflects an effort to promote effective career consultation and implementation of the university’s mission to connect and serve the community, and maintain its educational philosophy of non-profit education.
