The final round of the contest held on July 6 at Youth Cultural House attracted hundreds of students in HCM City. Five excellent teams of students from Hoa Sen University, University of Economics and Law, Eastern International University, Ton Duc Thang University and University of Finance–Marketing competed in the final round.
The Jury Council of five members included the council’s head, Tran Quoc Tuan, who is deputy head of Securities Investment and Research Centre. The other members were Nguyen Van Hong, deputy editor-in-chief of the Investment Newspaper; Pham Anh Tu, head of HCM City-based MB Security Joint Stock Company; Pham Cong Khoa Huong, head of HCM City Stock Exchange Department; and Nguyen Anh Tuan, head of commerce development at Dragon Capital Management Company.

At the launching ceremony of the final round, Le Nhi Nang, head of the HCM City-based Representative Office of State Securities Commission of Viet Nam and head of the organisation committee, said: “The contest aims to improve students’ knowledge about the stock market. Moreover, this is a chance for students to use their knowledge in practice.”

Hoa Sen University’s student team won first prize in the final round of Stock Market Talent Contest, with the total score of 162.8. The second prize went to the University of Finance –Marketing; the third prize, Eastern International University; and consolation prizes to Ton Duc Thang University and University of Economics and Law.
